Ismo, The Gangaba of Treich ...
Ismaël Isaac, affectionately called "Ismo" is one of the prides of the Ivorian and African reggae. His inspiration is matched the tempo of his voice.
Ismaël Isaac is an artist both militant and very discreet. Indeed, Ismael is one of the world`s African singers to denounce the current ills as terrorism, fratricidal wars, apartheid.
Ismaël Isaac, Kaba Diakité ISSIAKA marital status, was born in Abidjan in 1966. His parents are originally from Ponodougou, sub-prefecture of Boundiali. They settled in Treichville, a neighborhood of Abidjan shock. But in Treichville, vaccination campaigns are still mode and at the age of two years, their eldest son ISSIAKA is struck down by polio.
It`s the late 70 ISSIAKA listening funk and dream smurfer like US THAT HE kids see on TV. But his disability prevents it. And in 1981 to the death of Bob Marley, reggae Ismael Isaac discovers that seniors listened more.
The offering television one evening "First Chance" ROGER FULGENCE KASSY the Ivorian Radio and Television, the Ivory Coast discovers Alpha Blondy. He sings in Dioula. For ISSIAKA, the stage is set. He chose a stage name Ismael Isaac and laid siege to the Ivorian television. It sneaks up on the set of "First Chance", but nobody wants to listen. One day, while musicians who lunch. Georges Kouakou, keyboard and arranger of the orchestra of Radio Television Ivorian sees Ismael in a corner of the room that said "I also want to sing! ». Ismael is dedicated to his career. He studied singing with Keita brothers, Hassan and Ousseine two twins in the neighborhood, he found a producer. The success of "Rahman" the city will know until it signs for Island Records. After the death of its producer, Ismaël Isaac leaves Polygram for Abidjan.
For "Treich Feeling" in (97), Ismaël Isaac signs with Dominique Misslin and says most of the arrangements to Georges Kouakou. In year`s 2000 Isaac Ismael out "Black System".
14 years after Ismael Isaac sign "I remain," produced by CANTA PRODUCTIONS. His candid voice, Ismael states teachings dictated by life. All in shades of nobility and humility that have always been his own, with his deep faith in the values of humanity: the words of a man standing that nothing can break down.

Ismaël Isaac, affectueusement appelé "Ismo", est l`une des fiertés du reggae ivoirien et africain. Son inspiration n’a d’égal que le tempo de sa voix.
Ismaël Isaac est un artiste à la fois militant et très discret. En effet, Ismaël est l`un des tout premiers chanteurs africains à dénoncer les fléaux actuels comme le terrorisme, les guerres fratricides, l`apartheid.
Ismaël Isaac, Kaba Diakité Issiaka à l’état civil, est né à Abidjan en 1966. Ses parents viennent de Ponodougou, sous-préfecture de Boundiali. Ils s'installent à Treichville, un quartier choc d`Abidjan. Mais à Treichville, les campagnes de vaccination ne sont pas encore de mode et à l`âge de deux ans, leur fils aîné Issiaka est terrassé par la polio.
C`est la fin des années 70. Issiaka écoute le funk et rêve de smurfer comme les kids américains qu`il voit à la télé. Mais son handicap l’en empêche. Et en 1981 à la mort de Bob Marley, Ismael Isaac découvre le reggae que les aînés écoutaient de plus en plus.
Un soir à l`émission télévisée "première Chance" de Roger Fulgence Kassy sur la Radio-Télévision Ivoirienne, la Côte d`Ivoire découvre Alpha Blondy. Il chante en dioula. Pour Issiaka, la voie est tracée. Il se choisit un nom d`artiste, Ismaël Isaac, et fait le siège de la télévision ivoirienne. Il se faufile sur le plateau de "Première Chance", mais personne ne veut l`écouter. Un jour, alors que les musiciens sont partis déjeuner. Georges Kouakou, clavier et arrangeur de l`orchestre de la Radio-Télévision Ivoirienne, voit Ismaël dans un coin de la salle qui lui dit "Moi aussi je veux chanter!". Georges l’écoute et est tout de suite conquis. Il amène son protégé voir Roger Fulgence Kassy qui décide sur le champ de le programmer à "Première Chance".
Ismaël se consacre à sa carrière. Il travaille le chant avec les frères Keita, Hassan et Ousseine deux jumeaux du quartier, il a trouvé un producteur. Peu après, Ousseine Keita meurt d`une tuberculose mal soignée, et Ismaël veut tout arrêter. Il enregistrera par la suite "Rahman"(90), son premier CD. Le succès de "Rahman" le fera connaitre jusqu`en métropole où il signe pour Island Records. Après le décès de son producteur, Ismaël Isaac quitte Polygram pour Abidjan.
Pour "Treich Feeling " en (97), Ismaël Isaac signe chez Dominique Misslin et confie la plupart des arrangements à Georges Kouakou. En l`an 2000, Ismaël Isaac sort "Black System".
14 ans après, Ismaël Isaac signe « Je reste », produit par CANTA PRODUCTIONS. De sa voix candide, Ismaël énonce les enseignements que lui dicte la vie. Le tout dans des teintes de noblesse et d`humilité qui ont toujours été les siens, avec sa foi profonde dans les valeurs d`humanité : les paroles d`un homme debout que rien ne peut abattre.
